What President Biden is doing is brilliant. He’s naming names. GOP is playing false about their agenda ahead of the Midterm elections—since they know if they were truthful about their agenda, unpopular with the majority of Americans, they’d likely lose. By President Biden calling GOP representatives out by name and giving details, he stops their “malarkey” cold. His name may not be on the ballot, but Biden understands our dire need to get the message out, so he’s calling GOP on their cynical behavior. He makes clear that while the GOP postures before the cameras to condemn Democrats’ “Socialist” policies, behind the scenes, they beg President Biden for money for projects they themselves voted against. “I didn’t know there were so many Socialist Republicans!” POTUS said.
Please watch this short clip:
Biden names names of Republicans who voted against infrastructure and then asked for money. The President said, "I was surprised to see so many socialists in the Republican caucus." pic.twitter.com/CLz94aCGNb

I admit that in years past I was critical of then-Senator Biden and Vice President Biden. And while I appreciated Joe Biden’s fierce loyalty to President Obama, he was not my first choice in 2020 (VP Harris was). But Biden/Harris’ disciplined one-two punch on the campaign trail, coupled with the effective Administration they’re running continues to win me over. With good reason. Take a look at the significant and impressive legislation passed in an evenly divided Senate (with two obstructionist Democrats) and a very small lead in the House:

POTUS has been a pol for forty plus years and it shows—and in a good way. He knows the numbers he needs in the Senate and House and he’s not afraid to be direct in asking for them. He’s doing what every Democrat should be doing on the campaign trail–calling the GOP out by name for their shenanigans. Name names and share the documentation to back it up.
We are not dealing with a GOP of years past, but a GOP still intent on denying a legitimate election two years later, passing a national abortion ban, sunsetting Social Security, crushing voting rights, banning books, overturning marriage equality …the list goes on and it’s appalling, That’s not hype, but fact. Did you ever think Roe v. Wade would be overturned? …That was just a shot across the bow.
Imagine what could be accomplished if President Biden had an opposition that was working in good faith and would compromise on behalf of the American people? Capping insulin for all diabetics at $35 per month, for example (which all Republicans voted against). Sadly, Biden/Harris do not have a good faith opposition. The only solution is for Democrats to come out in huge numbers and win a bigger majority to continue the forward progress this Administration has made thus far.
Please do everything you can—canvass, call, donate, make a plan to vote and take others with you to the polls.

So much is at stake:
In just four weeks, we could elect enough Democrats to the Senate to codify Roe v. Wade into law. We can (and must) get it done.

And an BIG honorable mention to Tim Ryan on his excellent and frank debate performance tonight.
Rep. Tim Ryan (D-OH): "Can you imagine saying out of one side of his mouth he's pro-cop and out of the other … he's raising money for the insurrectionists who were beating up the Capitol police? … One guy he tried to raise money for got four years in prison!" pic.twitter.com/ZtDwrbO9ZA

You know what I haven’t done? I didn’t start a fake non-profit pretending I was going to help people with addiction like JD Vance did.#OHSenDebate pic.twitter.com/WhyUMQBKCJ

JD Vance just admitted in his debate with Tim Ryan that he fully supports Lindsey Graham’s national abortion ban.

seriously, Senator, how many more times are you going to try to get away with lying about the insurrection you supported 👖🔥 https://t.co/OKgfdztIrV pic.twitter.com/CdfTxAPPcS

In Friday's debate, Ron Johnson continued to say he will put Medicare & Social Security on the chopping block every year. The choice is clear, vote Mandela Barnes for U.S. Senate. pic.twitter.com/XczXucVvWP

I introduced the Every Vote Counts Act to make sure every American has a voice in our democracy.

But if anti-democracy politicians can overturn elections, it’s all for nothing.
We must protect our democracy.
Americans pay two to three times more for prescription drugs than the rest of the world.
— Rep. Val Demings (@RepValDemings) October 8, 2022
Does that seem fair to you?
The #InflationReductionAct holds prescription drug companies accountable.
Three quarters of Americans support the #InflationReductionAct because it’s common sense to reduce the cost of prescription drugs, grow our economy to fight climate change, and make big corporations pay their fair share.

In the greatest democracy in the world—a nation borne out of a fight against governmental overreach and that takes pride in self-determination—Republicans are working to strip away the right to autonomy from 51 percent of its citizenry.

Hypocrisy doesn't even begin to cover it.
I just had a man tell me that if a woman dies from an ectopic pregnancy, that’s God‘s will. He’s voting on November 8. Are you?
