Finlay & Smart Talk Sequestration, Immigration Reform, Benghazi and Big Banks

08 May 2013

Tonight, John Smart and I are delighted to welcome back our favorite economic guru, Larry Doyle, of Sense on Cents.  Larry will offer his practical and knowledgeable perspective on the true cost of immigration reform, the impact of sequestration, sans hype of course.  We’ll also take a look at Bank of America, Wells Fargo and their disregard for maintaining standards and demands as dictated within their mortgage settlement.

In other news, Republicans are once again trying to take down Hillary Clinton, a most formidable contender in 2016, should she run.  Their ammunition:  Benghazi.  Are their attacks more grandstanding?  It is troubling that soon after the terror attacks occurred last September, Secretary Clinton, as head of the State Department, tried to take responsibility for events that happened on her watch.  Yet Republican Senators McCain, Ayotte and Graham, would have none of it.  Calling it a “laudable gesture,” Senator McCain insisted that responsibility for the deaths of four Americans rested with the Obama administration.

Now that President Obama has been successfully re-elected and Hillary Clinton is polling with sky high numbers against all comers, Republicans want her head on a spit — and who is leading the charge?  None other than Senator Lindsay Graham.  Things that make you go…hmmmmm?

We’ll discuss all of this tonight on Finlay & Smart Talk.  Please tune in, call in at (877) 653-8381, or download later at your convenience.

Don’t miss it!
